Hey All ... We've been going to Beachfront 301 which has great specials and is a great spot but now that there are 5 teams and we are playing Regular Season, I'm not sure how well they can accomodate us if we get a larger group going out afterwards.
I spoke with the Manager at Hurricane's and told him about the potential large group we have looking for a place to call 'home' on Monday nights. I put emphasis on the fact that 301 has GREAT late night prices so he said he would honor their $3.99 Happy Hour appetizers menu all night for us. If everyone is interested in that, we can probably work on him for some more freebies or discounted beers, etc...He said he can set up and accomodate like 45 people if necessary! Right now Mondays has an acoustic music player but as summer approaches, will probably switch to DJ.
I'm a big fan of dive bars so if we find a cool one with plenty of seating, that's great too! Just something to think about....

FYI - Pay particular attention to your schedule....we have 5 teams. One team each week will play double headers. More fun for everyone!!

You will get your shirts before the games on Monday so show up a little early. (If you signed up yesterday or after you will get your shirts week 3)

If you haven't heard yet.... HB kickball starts on June 1st.
We have a good group of peeps and looking forward to a great season.

We're also going to start doing happy hours on Thursday nights. Anyone with a good bar idea or contacts please post them so we can find the best place for the crew.

We're going to send an email on Wed with all your team, roster and schedule info.

Yo! We had so many peeps on the field this past Monday - and some said that there were more the previous week. Is everyone a free agent? Our teams looks skeletal!! :-(

What's This?

Sports Group Pages are used to communicate with players and members that want to keep in touch with what's going on in each League sport. If you want to stay in touch with what's going on in the Venice > Kickball > Sports league then you can join the venice kickball league sports group. You can write on the wall and ask questions and receive email communications specific to that particular sport.

Also. Each time you Register for a sports league you will be added to to that particular sports group automatically. If you would like to remove yourself from the group > Login to your account and goto the sports group page. Click where it says "Leave Group". You will no longer get emails from us in regards to this group. Keep in mind that if you sign up for the sports league again you will be re added to the group.
